Mr. Sooperbass Tackle Company was established in the early 1970's by Dick Busby. Through the years, Sooperbaits have earned a reputation with local fisherman as reliable, affordable and effective baits. Though Mr. Busby is gone, the pride, tradition, and quality of the Sooperbait lives on. Sooperbaits are proven tournament winners that are made by hand, one at a time, and built using the highest quality components, including Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp S/S hooks, Worth brand ball-bearing swivels, and high-quality rubber and silicone skirts. They are available in multiple weights, blade combinations and colors. Every order is customized to meet the needs of the local fisherman.
Spinnerbaits are available in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ounce sizes. We have nickel, gold, copper, and painted blades. The possibilities are endless with over 75 skirt colors and numerous blade combinations!
Buzzbaits are available in 1/4 and 1/2 ounce. Silver, gold, black, and chartreuse buzzbait blades are available. These buzzbaits have proven themselves time and time again. Nothing can elicit a strike like a buzzbait...tie one on and watch the water explode!
Jigs are available in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 ounce. All jigs are built using 5/0 Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp black nickel hooks. The arky jigs made by Mr. Sooperbass have been a staple amongst local tournament fishermen for years and they are still one of the best baits to put that kicker fish in your livewell!
